What is Script2Cloud?

Script2Cloud is a brand new project here at K2SXS. A file transfer client designed for the cloud with support for FTP, FTPS, SFTP, WebDAV, Microsoft Azure and Amazon S3.

 

It features:

  • A powerful IDE (Integrated Development Environment) with
    • Syntax-highlighting
    • Code-completion proposal
    • Parameter-completion proposal
    • Script compiler
    • Profile manager (for all supported server types)
  • A Script Runner with
    • Support for Pascal, C++, JavaScript and Basic scripting languages
    • Support for symultaneous execution of multiple scripts
    • Support for multiple client objects in the same script
    • Advanced exception handling and logging
    • Scheduling and advanced automation options

 

This software is still under development. Here's the current status:

  • SFTP Client object: complete
  • FTP(S) Client object: complete
  • WebDAV Client object: developing
  • S3 Client object: developing
  • Azure Client object: designing
  • Local file-system functions: complete

 

Script2Clound has not been released yet, but if you want to see the current version in action, you can watch these videos.

 

As you can see it is not a GUI drag-n-drop client. Script2Cloud is not meant to replace your WinSCP, FileZilla, FlashFXP, SmartFTP, etc... for your interactive file transfer you will still need them. Script2Cloud has been designed and developed with scripting and automation in mind.

 

We will soon make an alpha version available for you to test it and send us bug reports. If you're interested in being part of the alpha/beta program, please contact us and we will send you further information.
